In 2012, the VBDO (Dutch Association of Investors for Sustainable Development) attended the shareholders' meetings of 71 publicly quoted companies and asked questions about the main subjects: sustainable remuneration, biodiversity and human rights. Giuseppe van der Helm, Executive Director of the VBDO, reports about the impact of the attendances and of VBDO's questions.
Since 1996, the Dutch Association of Investors for Sustainable Development (VBDO), together with a group of trained and experienced volunteers, has been attending shareholders' meetings of publicly quoted companies and have been asking questions about their sustainability policies.
